Robbie Raposa is an illustrator and multimedia artist from Westport, MA. At ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, he has explored many forms of illustration, design, and fine art. He enjoys drawing characters in interesting environments and situations. He takes inspiration from his surroundings and simplifies moments of life in his style.

Statement

My Capstone project focuses on real-life moments illustrated in two different formats. The triptych series of illustrations have a common narrative that links the images with one another to tell a story. The single illustrations are self-contained images that pause in a moment in time and include an element of humor to break the regularity of day-to-day life. This project was influenced by people-watching and everyday life. It allowed me to think of how personalities bounce off one another in different environments. My hope is that this collection of work makes people smile and appreciate the small moments of life.
