½ûÂþÌìÌà Abigail Tobin

Abigail Tobin is a graduating senior in the Interior Architecture + Design program at ½ûÂþÌìÌà Dartmouth, with a minor in Film and Media Studies. She has always been passionate about interior spaces and how people experience them. Her design vision focuses on preserving the unique character of each space while embracing a colorful, maximalist aesthetic.

Statement

The senior thesis, Running Brook Winery and Theater, reimagines the traditional winery by combining it with a performance theater experience, creating a space where history, craft, and performance come together. This project is inspired by the aging process of wine—how time enhances its depth, character, and richness, much like the spaces people inhabit. The design includes a theater space with a stage, an expanded tasting room, and dedicated areas for winemakers to craft wine while guests observe from above. The project is dedicated to the current employees of Running Brook Winery and the artistry of winemaking.
