Practical training has long been a cornerstone of UMass Law's mission to prepare graduates for meaningful careers across public and private sectors. U.S. News & World Report recently named UMass Law the 22nd best law school in the nation, and the second highest in Massachusetts for public interest law employment.

"Practical experience is essential to shaping capable, confident legal professionals," said UMass Law Dean Sam Panarella. "Our students are not only learning the law—they're applying it in real-world settings that serve communities and expand access to justice."
