Kappa Delta Pi recognizes UMassD education students for their academic excellence

Today, ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ’s Alpha Eta Alpha Chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) International Honor Society in Education inducted 12 students:

Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education serves to recognize those dedicated to the field of education and provides members with a network of individuals to connect within the education fields. For eligibility, undergraduates must demonstrate a 3.2 cumulative GPA and graduates must demonstrate a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
The Alpha Eta Alpha Chapter at ½ûÂþÌìÌà was chartered in 2013. Professor Sheila Macrine (STEM Education & Teacher Development) serves as the Alpha Eta Alpha Chapter counselor.
Kappa Delta Pi was founded over a century ago at the University of Illinois. KDP holds a membership base of over a million individuals committed to the ideals and values upheld by the organization with the motto Fidelity to Humanity, Science, Service and Toil.
