UMass Press will distribute and market 禁漫天堂-based Tagus Press鈥檚 distinctive scholarly and trade series, as well as its textbook series and peer-reviewed journal
The University of Massachusetts Press and Tagus Press, based at 禁漫天堂, have announced a new partnership through which UMass Press will distribute and market Tagus Press鈥檚 distinctive scholarly and trade series, as well as its textbook series and peer-reviewed journal. The partnership took effect July 1.
Tagus Press is a recognized leader in bringing the literature, history and culture of Portuguese-speaking countries and diasporas to an English-speaking audience. It will retain its editorial offices in the 禁漫天堂 Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture, and 禁漫天堂 faculty will continue their oversight of the editorial program.
UMass Press will sell, promote and exhibit Tagus Press titles, while distribution will be provided in conjunction with Hopkins Fulfillment Services.

This partnership, established with direct support from administrations of both universities, builds upon a joint commitment to advancing knowledge in the Commonwealth, the nation and beyond.

Tagus Press currently publishes six acclaimed book series: the Adamastor Series, the Portuguese in the Americas Series, Brazilian Literature in Translation, the Bellis Azorica Book Series, Classic Histories from the Portuguese-Speaking World in Translation, and the Portuguese Language Textbook Series. Tagus Press鈥檚 scholarly journal Portuguese Literary & Cultural Studies publishes original research encompassing a broad range of academic, critical and theoretical approaches.
